We know how people don’t like reading Terms and Conditions, so we’ve kept them very short:

Your deposit is non-refundable: This includes (but is not limited to) illness/injury, family issues, expired passports, bad weather, sick pets, job commitments, traffic problems, airline delays, relationship breakdowns, etc.  If you are risk-averse, don’t book in advance.

If you have booked and your circumstances change preventing travel, please don’t ask us for a refund or a credit; your reason will not be exceptional and we will say no: This is why you need to have a travel insurance policy in place which will also cover you for complete medical care whilst in Bali, together with cancellation or changes cover for any unforeseen circumstances: In making a reservation with Swell, you agree to have a valid travel insurance policy in place during your stay with us.  We will, of course, provide you with an invoice so that you can make a claim on your insurance policy if you have to cancel part of, all of, or extend your stay for any reason.

All arrival balances must be settled on check-in, either in cash or by credit card: Swell staff will process your payment on arrival. 

Maximum room occupancy is 2: Rates are occupancy-based; if you have booked for one guest but try to check in with 2, you will be charged the difference before check-in.  

Swell does not accept children under 16; if you book a room and arrive with a child under 16, we will not refund your deposit.

Please also note, you cannot self-cater at Swell: Our kitchen is strictly out of bounds for guests.

Make sure that your insurance policy also protects any belongings you bring with you to Swell.  Swell will not take any responsibility for any loss or damage to your personal effects.
