ULUWATU SURF REPORT

Swell arrived a few days late, but today seems to be the start of the Bali ’21 Dry surf season. Overhead + waves at Impossibles, The tide was a little too high for Bingin to be barreling at midday. Uluwatu had some solid 1,5 to 2 x overhead waves, and racetracks was firing when the tide got lower. This coming week should see plenty more good days of surfing here on the west coast of Bali, since the winds have finally turned offshore or very light side onshore.

Corona update: Bali ( or the whole of Indonesia for that matter) is still closed for foreign tourists. People are getting in on Business Visa’s but it’s expensive and cumbersome. Mass vaccination is well underway here in Bali, most Bingin and Padang Padang locals are getting their vaccine shots today. Rumour has it that the Indonesian government is thinking about slowly opening tourism back up here with green zones somewhere in June / July.
We are already getting a good amount of reservations for our surf hotel in Bingin, by surfers that still want to make the most of the Bali Surf season. We allow changing of dates, so if your original dates don’t work, we allow you to move the dates on.
